No passwords, no emails, no IDs required. When you make your first purchase, we help generate and store a secure Nostr key pair, letting you shop pseudonymously. Keep your private key to easily track orders, chat directly with merchants, and explore deeper into the vibrant Nostrverse.

What are Zaps?
Zaps are tiny Bitcoin Lightning tips you can give directly to other people instead of likes. They're your way to say thanks, leave a note, or show support. It's putting your money where your mouth is. Every zap is an act of peaceful rebellion against middlemen, letting your voice shape what's meaningful. It’s value, exchanged directly, by you.
Do I need to connect a Lightning wallet?
Nope. You’re free to interact just like any social platform—posting comments, likes, reposts, and engaging fully without ever connecting a wallet. But unlike traditional platforms, there's nobody behind the curtain manipulating or extorting you.
And when you're ready to buy something, you don't even need a connected wallet: simply pay the invoice directly to the merchant in whatever way you need to, no strings attached.

What can't I sell?

Are reviews genuine?
Absolutely. Every review is cryptographically signed by a real buyer’s Nostr key. Trust comes from genuine transactions, not inflated ratings or hidden manipulations.
Why Bitcoin and Lightning?
Bitcoin is the first truly sovereign currency, operating beyond the reach of censorship, banks, or governments. With the Lightning Network, Bitcoin transactions settle instantly and globally at near-zero cost, empowering merchants to sell freely and buyers to pay privately, no matter where they live. For Conduit, Bitcoin and Lightning aren’t just technologies; they’re the moral foundation of a peaceful rebellion.
What's eCash, then?
eCash is extremely private digital cash layered on top of the Bitcoin Lightning network. They are custodial bearer tokens you hold, spend, and redeem privately for Bitcoin. It’s really exciting but still relatively new technology, so choose your mints carefully.
Why stablecoins? Aren’t you Bitcoiners?
We love Bitcoin deeply. Yet we recognize reality: merchants in Latin America and many developing countries often need to offer stablecoins as a payment option to survive. We’re bridging their path to Bitcoin adoption, always encouraging a smooth, voluntary transition to sound money.
What data do you collect?

How secure are transactions?
We don’t touch your money—that’s the beauty. Payments settle directly via Bitcoin, Lightning, eCash, or stablecoin protocols, each secured by the strongest cryptography available. Your keys, your control, always.
Do you control my identity or funds at any point?
Never. Disconnect your signer anytime, wander the Nostrverse freely, and take your funds with you. Your identity and money stay yours alone. We hope you'll visit us again, but we'll never hold you back.
If you’re a platform, how are you decentralized?
We’re a doorway, not a cage. Our services run inside encrypted enclaves we can't peek into. You're free to host your own version of Conduit or swap providers anytime. We’re decentralized by choice, keeping power in your hands.
Do my listings only show on Conduit?
Your products can appear wherever you wish across Nostr. Conduit helps you amplify your message everywhere—maximizing your reach and empowering your brand.
Is Conduit open source?
Completely. Our full stack is openly licensed (MPL/GNU) and available to review on Github. Fork it, improve it, or create your own. True sovereignty means giving you the tools to build without permission. We're here to offer picks and shovels for the de-commerce revolution.
